The second International e-Participation Symposium is coming!

The 2008 Symposium - Empowering Citizens Through Technology and Participation -
Build on the achievements of the 2006 Symposiums by creating an even stronger agenda and attracting a wealth of experienced and prestigious speakers.
Sessions will run along three main themes - Local Authority, Political and International -and will encourage strong audience participation.
The final agenda and speakers are still to be finalised, but expect to see speakers of the same calibre as last year:

  • Najat Rochdi, UNDP Representative in the Arab Region
  • Leslie Reynolds, Executive Director of the National Association of Secretaries of State
  • Andrew Pinder, Former UK Government eEnvoy
  • Griff Wigley, eParticipation and Blogging Expert
  • Tom Steinberg, Founder and Director of MySociety.org

Sessions will cover topics such as:

  • Fundraising on the Internet
  • Budgeting
  • eCampaigning
  • Blogging
  • Connecting with Voters
