eDem 2008
The e-democracy conference EDem 08 will take place at the Danube University Krems in Austria between 29th and 30th of September 2008. 

The EDem2008 conference presents the opportunity to look into these questions and discuss the answers. During the conference experiences will be collected, examples good and bad practice analysed, the State-of-the-Art and future scenarios will be presented and discussed.

The government has embraced e-democracy as a way of reaching out to citizen constituencies - such as young people - who are currently opting out of the party political process.
